Dr. Richard Allen Scott Jr is an entrepreneur, stylist, father of three, and grandfather of one, who has been in the hair care industry for 30+ years. Richard graduated from Chris Logan Career College in Florence, South Carolina, where he studied and obtained his Cosmetology Diploma. Richard became a licensed cosmetologist (RC) in the State of South Carolina shortly after finishing the program. Richard is also licensed as a Master Hair Care Specialist (BMH), Cosmetology Instructor (IRC), Hair Braider (BHB), and Barber Instructor (BI). Richard has recently finished a Global Career Development Facilitator program allowing him to receive his certification (GCDF). Dr. Scott started the Cosmetology program at Hemingway Career and Technology Center where he's currently the lead cosmetology instructor for WCSD for the past 16 years. In November 2020 he enrolled and completed the Hair Loss Practitioner program with the United States Trichology Institute in which he is now certified as a Hair Loss Practitioner (HLPC). He is also a Cranial Prothesis Specialist and is NPI certified where he can help those experiencing major hair loss due to certain illnesses or medical conditions. He later went on to complete his Professional Bachelor's in 2011 followed by his Master's and his Doctorate In 2020. Dr. Scott has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment and the hair industry and as a Platform Artist/Senior Educator for Colomer USA, formally known as REVLON. Dr. Scott is also the CEO and founder of Salon Exclusive Tonsorial Artists LLC, The ETA Concept for Advance Training and so to be opening The ETA Hair Loss and Restoration Center and Pharmacy. Dr. Scott loves learning and teaching the business of style and prides himself on staying current and up-to-date on the latest aspects of the hair care industry.
